Summary:
A family doctor provides lifelong care to patients, therefore they should take into account the patient’s job when planning prevention. Past immunization assessment and qualification for job-related vaccination should be part of medical care for adult patients. Using real examples, the paper presents the possibility of vaccination of adult patients in the GP surgery and discusses the indications for immunization which result from the work performed, but are neither compulsory vaccinations nor reimbursed by the employer.
