Summary: New Rhinitis 2020: A Practice Parameter Update delivered some new approaches important in both rhinitis diagnostics and therapy. Therefore, their implementation in family medicine seems to be important. In comparison to previous guidelines and other standards (such as ARIA), this document delivered a broader spectrum of possible treatments. Some of them are well known, such as intranasal GCS and oral or intranasal AH1, some, such as decongestants, are used without control. Combination treatments are also discussed at length.
