Transdermal NSAIDs in pain therapy - topical use of ketoprofen
Summary:
Pharmacological treatment of pain in the course of musculoskeletal system diseases is a multidirectional process. NSAIDs are one of the most effective and most commonly used analgetics. They show effectiveness in all forms of administration, however, topical application significantly reduces the risk of side effects and interactions with other drugs. The effectiveness of topically applied NSAIDs is comparable to that obtained by administering these drugs by other routes. Ketoprofen is a medicinal product with proven efficacy and safety in transdermal therapy.
