Summary:
Allergic rhinitis is the most common chronic airway disease in children and very common in adults. In our opinion, early and efficient treatment of rhinitis may prevent sequelae. Nasal steroids are the treatment of choice in many situations, including allergic rhinitis and acute and chronic rhinosinusitis.
