Musculoskeletal injuries: sprains, dislocations, tendinitis in the context of topical nimesulide gel
Summary:
Mild musculoskeletal injuries most often involve sprains and tendinitis. Every year, tens of thousands of patients visit general practitioners with musculoskeletal pain that can easily be treated noninvasively. A thorough medical interview, basic physical examination skills and basic knowledge of anatomy is sufficient for GPs to help patients quickly and effectively. Topical anti-inflammatory drugs have documented efficacy and proven advantages for specific patient groups.
