Summary: B vitamins play an important role in the functioning of the central and peripheral nervous systems. This paper presents the mechanisms of action of vitamins B1, B6, and B12 on the nervous system, the causes of deficiency of these vitamins, and the possibility of their use in supportive therapy in numerous neurological diseases and in COVID-19 infection.
