Summary: Allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis are the most common diseases in the western world. They have an important economic burden. Despite the well-established pathway to treatment, still we have under- and overtreated patients. In this short review we focused on practical approach to treat hay fever symptoms utilizing current medication and guidelines. We also mentioned non-pharmacologic approach which, when used together with appropriate medication may be beneficial for patients.
