Summary: Climate changes make patients' suffering from allergic rhinitis life troublesome and miserable. It is also difficult to tailor the treatment according to patients' needs and wants. Therefore, analysis of the available treatments taking in account efficacy and safety become of a vital interest. In this review we focused on latest publications mostly related to bilastine efficacy and safety. Mostly, because several new meta-analysis focused on these aspects were recently published. We also discussed pill-or-spray strategy which also delivers lots of questions and doubts. Due to new meta-analysis related to treatment efficacy and safety in chronic urticaria, we also discussed these issues.
