Summary: The problem of implementing vaccinations by health care workers is an important element of the safety of patients’ treatment and the safety of health and life of workers themselves. Currently, the only mandatory vaccination in Poland is vaccination against hepatitis B. The article presents the benefits of carrying out vaccinations recommended for medical workers, i. e. vaccination against influenza, whooping cough.
