Why are drugs from the SYSADOA group an effective supplement to analgesics in patients with osteoarthritis?

Summary: Pharmacotherapy in osteoarthritis must be multimodal. The complexity of the pathomechanism of the disease and the pathomechanism of pain formation necessitate the use of various pharmacological mechanisms used in this indication of drugs. Effective pain management is based on the use of non-opioid analgesics and opioids, but an increasingly important practical role is played by drugs from the SYSADOA group. Due to their multimodal mechanism of action, they are a valuable complement to the analgesic effect of classic analgesics.
