Summary: Photoallergic and phototoxic reactions are one of the undesirable effects of topically applied non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This applies in particular to ketoprofen, etofenamat and naproxen. The paper discusses the problem of the occurrence of photoallergic and phototoxic reactions as a consequence of the local application of analgesics.
