Summary: In the pharmacotherapy of inflammatory pain, one of the groups of drugs used in medical practice are NSAIDs. Aceclofenac is one of the NSAIDs that is characterized in addition to cyclooxygenase inhibition by numerous pleiotropic effects that potentiate the action of the drug in inflammatory pain. An additional effect of aceclofenac, which has been confirmed in experimental conditions, is the chondroprotective effect. Aceclofenac is characterized by an optimal safety profile in the upper gastrointestinal tract.
