Summary:
Rhinosinusitis in children continues to be a diagnostic and therapeutic problem. The criteria for diagnosis are based on the presence of specific clinical symptoms, such as nasal obstruction, anterior or posterior rhinorrhea, facial pain, cough. Viruses are the main etiological factor of acute inflammation. Chronic rhinosinusitis is a constant element of cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, and immune disorders.
