Nebulization of drugs in patients with respiratory diseases during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Is it really at risk, or how to understand scientific research and recommendations?

Summary: In the article, the possibilities of using inhalation therapy with particular reference to nebulization have been discussed. Due to numerous controversies over international scientific associations’s guidelines – fundamentally different and mutually exclusive, authors presented a unique synthetic analysis of the results which contains the safest tools in the epidemiological context for providing the treatment course. We pay attention to the rules of good nebulisation practice and perspectives of inhaled glucocorticosteroids (ICS) therapy of chronic diseases during the COVID-19 pandemic.
