Summary: The paper discusses the biological treatment options for severe insufficiently controlled asthma in Poland. The definition of biological treatment and available drugs in Poland are presented. The severe asthma therapy program from the Polish National Health Fund and the benefits of its existence are described in detail for doctors, patients and the healthcare system.
