Summary: The paper presents the results of in vitro comparative studies of generic preparations of fluticasone propionate with salmeterol from diskus-like inhalers (Airmaster, Diament, G7) in relation to the reference drug and inhaler (Diskus). The study was conducted with the next generation cascade impactor following the European Pharmacopoeia dry powder inhaler procedure. The basic parameters characterizing the aerosol cloud (mass median aerodynamic diameter, fine particle dose) generated by the above-mentioned inhalers were determined. The deposition of fluticasone propionate at different levels of the respiratory tract was assessed. There were slight differences between the tested products.
