Summary: Allergic rhinitis treatment comprises many approaches. From the variety of medications patients usually tend to choose fast-acting, effective, easy to use and safe treatment. In this short review we are focused on novel antihistamine on polish pharma market - ebastine in 10 and 20 mg dose available in self-dissolving tablet. We described the clinical trials, where ebastine was used treatment of allergic rhinitis and urticaria. We also mentioned safety data and patient adherence to the ebastine treatment. Therefore, ebastine seems to be worth choosing medication in allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria.
