Summary: The possibility of using in clinical practice single pill combination based on hypolipemic and hypotensive drugs opens up new possibilities for influencing cardiovascular risk – optimal reduction of the two most important cardiovascular risk factors. Such preparations can be used in a wide group of patients with a special focus on high- and very high-risk patients in primary and secondary prevention. In addition, reducing the number of pills translates into increased adherence.
